This cycling route includes the major cultural sites and scenery that centers around Lhasa, with the excellent cycling condition and good accommodation and amazing scenery along the route, all of which makes it a pleasant journey. This itinerary involves Namtso lake, grassland in the north and Ganden monastery built on the peak of the mountain in the east, and down the south are Yarlong valley and the source of Tibetan culture-Samye monastery.
Prior trekking experience is not necessary for taking part in an easy trek. Anyone who is fit and healthy enough to walk for 4-6 hours a day can manage moderate treks. These treks only involve lower altitude with daily ascents of around 300-600m on well-maintained paths and with easy access to local amenities.
