Indigenous Trail Home Stay Trek

Trip
Overview

The Indigenous Trail Home-stay trek is a low altitude trek that provides unique opportunity for trekkers to explore multi-culture of indigenous community, to integrate with villages, to interact with local people enjoying great hospitality in home-stay.

Situated at the low elevation below 3,126m, it offers breathtaking panoramic view of the Himalayas stretching from Dhaulagiri and Annapurna ranges in the west of Numbur Chuli (6959m) and Kanchenjunga (8586m) to the East. The friendly, generous and attentive hospitality of host community is the man highlight of this trek where staying overnight in private homes of locals as a member of their family are enough to delight you and make you promise to return. This trek contributes the trekkers a glimpse of remarkable culture and lifestyle of various ethnic groups namely Tamang, Newari, Sherpa, Hyolmo and Majhi. Above all, you will get to experience the mythical side of Nepal as we encounter both Hindu and Buddhist practices with their own deities, monastery, temples and stupas. Basically, this trek empower you discover the real Nepal unlike other tourist attractions. We believe lodging with locals really helps to exchange culture and to understand their livelihood while the money you spend will contribute the families to educate their children, to sustain their lives as well as to rebuild houses from 2015 earthquake.
